BAILER
Bailer's music is an exciting and original blend of acoustic and electric
material. Their music is full of dynamics and melody, which has made the
band accessible to audiences all over Ireland. This Irish band was formed
in 2001. Founder members of Bailer, (singer) Caitriona McGuinness and
(guitarist/songwriter) Maurice Brennan previously played together in
Dublin building up a strong repertoire and gaining live experience.
Bailer released its debut EP In the City in 2004. Peter Jordan joined the
band in 2005 and features on the latest recording. Bailer has gigged
extensively playing leading Irish venues such as The Point Theatre, Vicar
Street, Temple Bar Music Centre, The Green Room, The Music Factory,
The Sugar Club, Dolan's Warehouse, The Hub and a host of festivals
around the country. They were selected to play at the prestigious Hard
Working Class Heroes music industry showcase in 2005.
Regular supports with some of Ireland’s most popular acts like Aslan, Brian
Kennedy, The Hothouse Flowers and Mick Flannery have provided
tremendous exposure. In 2006 the band released two singles , "Tonight"
and "Watch Out!" which brought very encouraging airplay on national and
regional radio. Bailer recently released their debut album "Running"',
produced by Bobby Boughton and mastered by US industry legend Bob Katz.
