Bailer’s music is an exciting and original blend of acoustic and electric material. The
music is full of dynamics and melody, which has made the band accessible to
audiences all over Ireland. This Irish band was formed in 2001. Founder members of
Bailer Caitriona McGuinness (singer) and Maurice Brennan (guitarist/songwriter)
previously played together in Dublin building up a strong repertoire and gaining live
experience.

With Gene Murphy established on bass and after several line up changes the band
really came into its own in the Summer of 2003 with the arrival of the crazy French
drummer Frank Chircop. Frank came to Ireland via The Musician’s Institute in
Hollywood CA, and travelled to Dublin to find the right band. Bailer released its debut
EP "In the City" in 2004. Bassist Peter Jordan joined the band in 2005 following
Gene's departure, and features on the new recording.

Bailer has gigged extensively playing leading Irish venues such as The Point Theatre,
Vicar Street, Temple Bar Music Centre, The Green Room, The Music Factory, The
Sugar Club, Dolan's Warehouse, The Hub and a host of festivals around the country.
They were selected to play at the prestigious Hard Working Class Heroes music industry
showcase last August.

Regular supports with some of Ireland’s most popular acts like Aslan and The Hothouse
Flowers have provided tremendous exposure and invaluable experience. One of the
highlights of 2005 was when the band played at The Point Theatre as Aslan’s special
guest in December.

The band released a single called "Tonight" in March 2006 which received very
encouraging airplay from:

Larry Gogan - RTE 2FM
Michelle Harding - RTE Radio 1
Tom O' Brannigain - 98FM
Geoff Harden - U105 (Belfast)
South East Radio (Wexford) - Playlisted
Cork Campus Radio - Breakfast Show
Colm Hanley - Anna Livia FM
Flirt FM (Galway) - Breakfast Show

Bailer have just released their new single 'Watch Out!', recorded and co produced with
Martin Quinn at Jam Studios in Co. Meath and mixed / mastered by Bobby Boughton at
Richmond Studios in Dublin. They are currently recording their debut album with
producer Bobby Boughton.
